Still, as someone who lives with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Dunham is cognizant of her body’s limits. “Someone asked me in another interview, ‘Well, why are you going if you don’t enjoy it?’ I never said that I don’t enjoy it. But I think anyone who’s being honest about it—even Anna or the other people who are in a position of authority there—would say it’s a rodeo,” she says. “I have always loved watching it as a fan, and I’ve always loved being here.”
