MUMBAI — Music composer Sajid Khan said he narrowly escaped serious injury after a powerful cricket ball nearly struck him during an Indian Premier League match.
Khan, best known as part of the composer duo Sajid-Wajid, shared a video of himself wearing a Punjab Kings jersey, with his forearm and leg bandaged. He said he suffered minor scratches and swelling after the incident during the Punjab Kings match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
“Today, I faced a big problem. You can see this. I hit the ball very hard, and the ball was peeled off. And I hit the ball here. Yes, of course, it was a big scene. Actually, what happened was that the ball was coming exactly to me, and I could see. I could see the ball was lying on the ground,” Khan said in the video.
