‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Trailer: Doctor Doom Battles the MCU, X-Men and Avengers Face Off, Captain America Returns
After being shown to CinemaCon attendees in April, the full “Doomsday” trailer is now public and brings together nearly every hero in the MCU.
“Doomsday” is the culmination of the MCU’s multiverse-crossing storytelling over the past seven years and three Phases since “Avengers: Endgame” released and became the second highest-grossing movie of all time. The team-up film brings together almost every major character from across the MCU to face its latest villain: Doctor Doom, played by Robert Downey Jr. in his Marvel return.
The trailer shows the Marvel heroes assembling as Doctor Doom prepares to wreak multiverse-crossing war on the heroes. Thor faces off against Doom and also reunites with Chris Evans’ Captain America, making his long-awaited return to the MCU after “Avengers: Endgame.” Several of Fox’s “X-Men” characters also officially cross over into the Avengers’ universe, including Professor Xavier, Magneto, Mystique, Cyclops and Channing Tatum’s Gambit from “Deadpool and Wolverine.” After hitting the big screen last year, the Fantastic Four and Thunderbolts are also back to help the Avengers save the multiverse.

The first full trailer for Avengers: Doomsday has been released online offering a look at Marvel’s big-budget big hope.
“Something’s coming, something we may not be able to deter,” is the first line heard in the new preview which proceeds to bring back multiple characters from various Marvel movies and universes.
Returning Avengers featured in the trailer include Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man and Chris Evans as Captain America while Fantastic Four’s Pedro Pascal, X-Men’s Patrick Stewart, Black Panther’s Letitia Wright and Thunderbolts’ Florence Pugh also appear.

Avengers fans assemble! In major Marvel news, Disney is planning to put premium-format tickets on sale for Avengers: Doomsday next week.
The studio plans to announce that domestic tickets for the eagerly anticipated Avengers franchise sequel will go on sale July 20, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned.
The studio will open ticket sales five months early for Infinity Vision theaters — the large-format designation that the studio has announced for select Doomsday theater screens. Disney created the Infinity Vision brand in the wake of Warner Bros. locking down Imax theaters for Dune Part III for three weeks after both films are released on Dec. 18.
