As Canberra United's future – short and long-term – remains unclear, a detailed list of 21 recommendations has been put forward to try and take the A-League Women to new heights.
And Capital Football, Football Australia and the Australian Professional Leagues that run the A-Leagues have been challenged to take on the monumental task.
"What is clear is that we can't afford not to do it," Professional Footballers Australia chief executive Beau Busch said.
