Sponsorships Are Now Available to Affiliates

At Twitch, we’re focused on removing barriers between streamers and earning opportunities. That’s why starting today, Affiliates can get discovered, execute campaigns, and get paid by brands through sponsorships on Twitch. Affiliates will now be included in select campaigns where they meet the brand’s criteria, and with the integrated workflow in the Sponsorship Dashboard, they can execute campaigns end-to-end from a single place.

Until now, sponsorships were only available to Partners, outside of a few one-off campaigns, including the recent Minecraft campaigns “Tiny Takeover” and “More Minecraft, More Challenges”. Those campaigns validated clear brand demand for Affiliate partnerships, with over 50% of participating, paid streamers being Affiliates. Following the Minecraft campaigns, we heard from Affiliates loud and clear: you wanted more opportunities to work with brands directly on Twitch. So we built it. Now, all brands can invite all Affiliates globally to their first sponsorship on Twitch.

TWITCH OPENS SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES TO AFFILIATES WORLDWIDE!

Twitch Affiliates can now access brand sponsorships directly through the platform, opening up new opportunities for smaller streamers to work with major brands and earn from sponsored content.

Twitch is expanding its creator monetisation strategy by making sponsorship opportunities available to Affiliates globally, giving more streamers the chance to connect with brands, manage campaigns and get paid directly through Twitch.

Previously, Twitch sponsorships were primarily available to Partners, with only selected campaigns offering opportunities to Affiliates. The platform says recent campaigns, including its Minecraft “Tiny Takeover” and “More Minecraft, More Challenges” activations, demonstrated strong demand for Affiliate creators, with more than half of participating paid streamers in those campaigns being Affiliates.

Twitch Opens Brand Sponsorship Opportunities To All Affiliates

Twitch is extending its brand sponsorship program beyond Partner-tier streamers, giving all Affiliates globally the ability to get discovered by brands, execute campaigns, and get paid through the platform’s Sponsorship Dashboard.

Until now, sponsorships on Twitch were largely restricted to Partners, the platform’s higher monetization tier, aside from a handful of one-off brand campaigns. “Starting today, Affiliates can get discovered, execute campaigns, and get paid by brands through sponsorships on Twitch,” the company said in an official blog post. Affiliates will be included in select brand campaigns where they meet a brand’s criteria, and can manage the process end-to-end through the Sponsorship Dashboard.

Oil set for weekly surge as US seeks to throttle Iran’s economy

Australian shares finished the week down 0.6 per cent as the oil price pushed higher and US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent’s effort to steady the bond market proved fleeting.

The S&P/ASX 200 Index fell 24.9 points, or 0.3 per cent, to 9058.9 on Friday, with six out of the 11 sectors in the red.

This followed a nearly 1 per cent fall on Wall Street as the yield on the US 10-year note rose 6 basis points to 4.70 per cent. The effect of Bessent’s buybacks of long-dated government debt had worn off after just 24 hours.

ASX slides for second week amid sell-off in local banks

Australian shares have fallen for a second week amid high oil prices, US bond market concerns and a sell-off in local banks as housing market gloom persists.

The S&P/ASX200 fell 24.9 points on Friday, down 0.27 per cent, to 9,058.9, as the broader All Ordinaries lost 28.8 points, or 0.31 per cent, to 9269.7.

The top 200 has dropped almost 2.5 per cent since resetting record highs earlier in August after housing market concerns sparked a banking sell-off that has loomed large over earnings season.

Energy and gold stocks offered some support as oil prices climbed and historically high US debt and Treasury yields rattled investors, prompting the US government to intervene in its roughly $US60 trillion ($A84 trillion) bond market.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has delivered a concerning fitness update regarding marquee summer signing Bruno Guimaraes. The Brazilian midfielder, who arrived in a high-profile £75 million move from Newcastle, is now facing a race against time to be fit for the Gunners' upcoming fixture against Coventry City.

Arsenal supporters have been hit with an early-season scare as Arteta revealed that new arrival Guimaraes is a major doubt for Premier League curtain-raiser against Coventry on Friday. The Brazilian international made his competitive bow for the north London giants during the 3-0 Community Shield triumph over Manchester City last Sunday, but his debut was cut short after he sustained a knock.

Parramatta in major backflip after playmaker forced to leave club due to Jarome Luai signing

Parramatta coach Jason Ryles has revealed the club is still hopeful of re-signing Ronald Volkman for next season despite the playmaker admitting he's been forced to look elsewhere due to the signing of Jarome Luai. The Eels have signed Laui for a one-year stint for 2027 before he heads to the PNG Chiefs in 2028.

Last month it was revealed that talks between Volkman and the Eels had broken down and the playmaker would leave the club at season's end. A halfback by trade, Volkman has found a home at five-eighth this year and cemented his spot.

Parramatta Eels playmaker left on outer linked with Sydney rivals

Parramatta Eels playmaker Ronald Volkman has all but confirmed he will be leaving the Parramatta Eels at the end of the year, but has been linked with rivals the Cantebury Bulldogs.

Volkman, off-contract at the end of this year with the blue and gold, was expected to only provide support to Mitchell Moses and Jonah Pezet throughout the course of the campaign, but has become a starting half in his own right.

He has managed 16 games, but with Jarome Luai signed on a one-year deal for next year, it now appears likely he will head for the exit at the end of the year.

Dolphins lock Ray Stone has been forced into retiring from the NRL at age 29, with the cult hero succumbing to persistent injuries.

Off contract at the end of this year, Stone has told his Dolphins teammates he will not play on beyond this year.

The lock had battled shoulder injuries to play almost all of last season, with Dolphins coach Kristian Woolf making special mention of his toughness at last year's presentation.

Stone to retire after 2026 finals tilt

Dolphins’ cult hero and foundation player Ray Stone has announced he will call time on his rugby league career at the conclusion of the 2026 NRL season.

In his usual understated manner, Stone told teammates yesterday that persistent injuries had led to his decision to retire.

The 29-year-old holds a spot in history as the club’s second NRL signing – after Felise Kaufusi – as the Dolphins began building their inaugural squad ahead of the 2023 season.

Upon arrival at the club, Stone became a fan favourite through his toughness, relentless work rate and fearless approach to the game.

He has played an important role in helping shape the club through its first four seasons in the NRL, earning the respect of teammates, coaches and supporters along the way – all while forgoing praise or fanfare.

Dolphins cult hero makes call on future after persistent injury battle

Dolphins forward Ray Stone has confirmed he will retire from the NRL at the end of the 2026 season, bringing an end to a career that has been defined by toughness and a battle against persistent injuries.

The 29-year-old has played more than 100 NRL games since making his debut with the Parramatta Eels in 2018, before becoming a key part of the Dolphins' inaugural squad.

Stone was the second-ever player signed by the expansion club ahead of their entry into the competition in 2023, helping establish the foundations of the Dolphins' playing group.

However, a series of significant injuries have taken their toll on the forward, with Stone ultimately deciding to call time on his career at the conclusion of the season.

Pies champ to wait on career call, with Suns among keen rivals

Gold Coast is believed to have genuine interest in pursuing Scott Pendlebury as a player and leader next season

SCOTT Pendlebury's management is understood to have taken enquiries from multiple clubs about 2027, with Gold Coast among those with genuine interest.A call on the champion Magpie's plans for next year won't be made until the end of their finals campaign.

"Scott will not be making a decision on his future until season's end. His eyes are firmly fixed on Collingwood's finals series,” Pendlebury's agent Anthony Panozzo from Hemisphere Management Group told AFL.com.au.

Pendlebury is due to play game No.442 for the Pies in Friday night's clash with Brisbane, but there is uncertainty about his future in 2027.

Rival club interested as Pendlebury made to wait on playing future

The manager of Scott Pendlebury says no decision will be made on his future until the end of the season.

Pendlebury is keen to play on in 2027, though there are different views within the Collingwood setup as to whether he is worthy of a list spot.

The situation remains very delicate, given the iconic status Pendlebury boasts within and outside the club.

Essendon made a play for the left-footer, though it was knocked back, while Gold Coast is understood to have expressed interest in the two-time premiership player joining as a free agent.

Speaking to Channel 7 and SEN on Friday, player agent Anthony Panozzo from Hemisphere Management Group said a call on the veteran’s next move has been delayed until after Collingwood’s last game.

AFL Couple Josh Daicos & Annalise Dalins Front Jockey's Latest Campaign As Brand Turns 150

AFL player Josh Daicos and his partner, Australian model Annalise Dalins have been named brand ambassadors and the faces of Jockey’s 150th anniversary campaign.

The couple are fronting Jockey’s new Support Is Strength platform, which explores how support has evolved from the comfort we wear to the connections that shape our confidence, bringing 150 years of heritage into a new era.

It’s the couple’s first-ever brand campaign together, which the brand said “feels particularly timely” as they prepare for their November nuptials.

“Celebrating 150 years of Jockey is a rare and significant milestone. Few brands earn that level of trust across generations. As we bring Jockey into its next chapter, our focus is honouring that heritage while ensuring the brand continues to be relevant for today’s consumer – confident, modern, active and authentic,” CEO Dane Totham said.

The Rise And Renewal Of Jockey

FOR MOST BRANDS, reaching 150 years in business is an opportunity to look back. For Jockey, it’s a chance to look forward.

Since its founding in 1876, the global underwear giant has played a defining role in shaping what modern underwear looks and feels like. The invention of the Y-front brief transformed the category, introducing a new standard of comfort and support that would influence generations of design. But while fabrics, fits and technologies have evolved over the decades, the philosophy behind the brand has remained remarkably consistent: confidence starts with comfort.

Now, as Jockey celebrates its 150th anniversary, it’s entering a new era that expands the idea of support beyond the garment itself. The brand’s latest campaign recognises that strength isn’t something we build alone. Instead, it’s shaped by the people who encourage us, challenge us and stand beside us through every stage of life.

Jockey marks 150 years with brand relaunch ‘Then. Now. Always.’ via Hook Creative Studio and DASH Advertising

The highly anticipated campaign, titled ‘Then. Now. Always’ Jockey, coincides with the brand’s 150th anniversary. It serves as a major relaunch for the underwear label, celebrating its rich heritage while planting a firm foot in the modern cultural landscape.

To spearhead the new direction, Jockey has announced Annalise Dalins and Josh Daicos as the brand’s newest ambassadors. The creative execution pays tribute to the brand’s extensive history by featuring classic, vintage Jockey advertisements, deliberately juxtaposed against the fresh, contemporary presence of Annalise Dalins and Josh Daicos representing “the now.”

The tagline, ‘Then. Now. Always’, is designed to pay homage to the brand’s storied past while focusing heavily on its current momentum and future trajectory.
