It’s been rumoured for a little while but Treyarch has confirmed that Call Of Duty Black Ops and Call Of Duty Black Ops 1 and 2 are officially coming to PS5 and PS4 in July.

Two of the most iconic Call Of Duty games of all time have been locked in PS3 jail (among many of other games), but that will all change next month with both games being ported to PlayStation consoles by Iron Galaxy.

Both of the games will include campaign, multiplayer and zombies suggesting the full experience is on the way. In terms of whether the games will be a straight one for one port, or have other enhancements, that’s still to be determined.

Huge Madge call that ‘says it all’ about dire Broncos plight; Panthers’ shock title challenger

The Brisbane Broncos have moved one step closer to becoming the first premiership-winning team to miss out on the finals the following season since 2006.

But was the writing on the wall earlier in the season?

Meanwhile, the Canberra Raiders have gone from the hunter to the “hunted” after a shocking six months which could also see the minor premiers endure a dramatic fall from grace with the season hanging on by a thread.

The NRL’s heavyweights have fallen off a cliff. And only one is climbing back up

Within moments of Keano Kini chipping, chasing and shunting the reigning premiers into a fifth straight loss on Saturday night, the question pinged in from the rugby league ether via the group chat.

“Has an entire top four missed the finals the following season?″⁣

And even with the Storm, Broncos, Raiders and Bulldogs sitting between positions 11 and 14 on the NRL ladder after mostly miserable starts to 2026, odds-on, this won’t be the year either.

The NRL’s bewildering insistence on awarding two points for a bye makes a liar of the ladder.

Take those two-point gifts away for a true mid-season snapshot and Melbourne rank behind the eighth-placed Sharks by one win.

Henderson backs scrutiny of ABC, SBS and others at Bondi Royal Commission

A Liberal Senator has welcomed the anticipated grilling of Australia's media, including the ABC and SBS, at the Royal Commission into Antisemitism and Social Cohesion.

Liberal Senator Sarah Henderson has welcomed a royal commissioner’s decision to call Australia’s public broadcasters before an investigation into antisemitism.

Sky News Australia on Tuesday revealed Bondi Royal Commissioner Virginia Bell and her team are establishing a hearing block to examine antisemitism in traditional and social media.

Major outlets, including the ABC and SBS, will be called to give evidence to the Royal Commission into Antisemitism and Social Cohesion, likely from June 29. Journalists could also appear as witnesses.

    Commission probe of media welcome

“There’s a real question of responsible journalism, and how the lack of it feeds into heated tensions in Australia. There are news outlets that take their responsibility very seriously. There are those who claim to do so, but will still publish material about the Middle East or Israel that is one-sided, and which agitates or causes agitation here in Australia; and then there are those – and this is more in the area of social media – that are completely unregulated and irresponsible

“It would be very useful for the ABC to be examined because they claim an absolute independence, but then the language and approach they use regarding Israel can lead to local agitation.

BREAKING: Massive call made on Mitchell’s Origin availability for Game 2

South Sydney Rabbitohs coach Wayne Bennett has confirmed that Latrell Mitchell will be unavailable for Game 2 of the 2026 State of Origin series.

Watch every game of every round of the Premiership Season LIVE with no ad-breaks during play on FOX LEAGUE, available on Kayo Sports | New to Kayo? Join now and get your first month for just $1.

Already sidelined with a back injury, which ruled him out of the series-opener, Bennett stated that he is still at least one month away from returning to the field.

“His back is no worse, it’s just taken a little longer to rehab, that’s all,” Bennett told The Sydney Morning Herald.

Latrell out of frame for Origin II but Daley backs Moses to reclaim Blues No.6

Injured centre Latrell Mitchell is out of the selection frame for the second State of Origin clash in Melbourne, but NSW coach Laurie Daley has confirmed Mitchell Moses is likely to reclaim the No.6 jersey if he proves his fitness for Parramatta next Monday.

South Sydney coach Wayne Bennett said on Sunday strike centre Mitchell would not feature for the Rabbitohs when they take on Manly on Thursday, and is unlikely to return from a back injury until round 17 against Parramatta – after the second Origin game on June 18 at the MCG.

Mitchell was the form centre in the NRL before he injured his back against the Knights and missed a game against Cronulla, before returning for Magic Round. But he broke down again and then ruled himself out of contention for the Blues for Origin I.

Latrell Mitchell set for five-week layoff as Souths star officially ruled out of State of Origin 2

South Sydney coach Wayne Bennett has revealed they’re not expecting Latrell Mitchell back until Round 17 at the earliest, officially ruling him out of State of Origin 2. Mitchell suffered a back injury in Round 9 against Newcastle, but returned in Round 11 after a week off.

However he aggravated the bulging disk issue against the Dolphins and was forced to miss Origin 1 for NSW. Souths were initially hopeful he’d be back in Round 14 next week, which would have put him in line to be available for Origin 2.

But Bennett revealed on Sunday that Mitchell’s progress isn’t coming along like they would have expected. The Rabbitohs coach said Mitchell is now targeting a Round 17 return against Parramatta, which is the final round before teams are picked for Origin 3.

Hawthorn has been forced to "transition out" of Tasmania ahead of the state's AFL entry in 2028.

The club says it is "extremely disappointed" at the AFL's decision to stop it from playing home games in Tasmania, despite playing games there since 2001.

Hawthorn's transition will begin after the 2027 season, ahead of Tasmania's entry into the AFL. It plays in Launceston this Thursday against Adelaide.

Hawthorn is "extremely disappointed" about the AFL's decision to force it out of Tasmania before the 2028 league debut of Tasmania's AFL side.

'Kicked out of home': Hawks disappointed as AFL ends Tassie deal

Hawthorn's quarter-century stint of playing home games in Launceston will end after the 2027 season

HAWTHORN coach Sam Mitchell says it feels like his side has been "kicked out of a home" after the AFL's decision to end to the club's long-standing arrangement of playing home games in Launceston.

With Tasmania planned to enter the AFL as the League's 19th team from 2028, the AFL Commission and executive team have agreed that the Hawks will no longer play home matches out of University of Tasmania Stadium in northern Tasmania after 2027.

The Hawks had lobbied to continue playing home games in Launceston after the Devils' scheduled debut, believing there was sufficient support for the Hawks and for Australian football in Tasmania's north to accommodate both clubs.

The Wayne Bennett phone call that sparked a breakout star’s resurgence

It took a phone call from master coach Wayne Bennett to begin lifting Jack Bostock out of the doldrums, but the Dolphins’ breakout star has no intention of returning the favour come Magic Round.

The Dolphins’ flyer has been a revelation since returning from a ruptured ACL suffered last year, and his form is expected to present his club with a daunting retention dilemma.

Bostock’s chance to return in his preferred centre position came due to Jake Averillo suffering a gruesome hand injury. He has shone with three tries and 186 running metres a game in two outings – wins against the Melbourne Storm and Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.

Despite only playing two matches this season – and in the centre position – Dolphins outside back Jack Bostock has emerged as a surprising Origin bolter.

Returning from a ruptured ACL, the 22-year-old has scored three tries, made six tackle busts, one line-break, provided one try assist and averaged 186 running metres per game during those appearances.

Surprise bolter emerges for NSW Blues outside backs

With days edging closer to when Laurie Daley announces his NSW Blues State of Origin side, a surprise candidate has emerged following a string of excellent performances.

The Dolphins centre Jack Bostock has impressed in his return from ACL injury, playing in the centres for the first time at NRL level in the past fortnight.

The Illawarra-based product has recorded three tries, broke six tackles, one line-break, given one try assist and averaged 186 running metres per game in the two appearances since the injury return.

The towering centre is up against the likes of Josh Addo-Carr, Thomas Jenkins, and Campbell Graham for a wing spot, given that incumbents Latrell Mitchell and Stephen Crichton lock both centre positions up.

By Erik Bethel – The waters around Japan are writing the future of the Indo-Pacific, and China doesn’t like what they’re saying.

For over a decade, Beijing perfected a simple formula: deploy coast guard armadas, normalize military presence in contested waters, and wait for neighbors to accept the new reality. The strategy conquered the South China Sea, where China now operates from artificial islands that didn’t exist fifteen years ago.

Call made for stoma-friendly public toilets in Belfast

A call has been made for more stoma-friendly public toilets in Belfast.

The Alliance Party has made a proposal at City Hall to look at ways to introduce toilets that have simple and practical facilities to help people living with stoma bags.

A stoma is a surgically created opening on the abdomen that allows waste, that is stool or urine, to exit the body, bypassing the normal route. It acts as a diversion for digestive or urinary systems when the body cannot pass waste through the anus or urethra, often due to cancer, diverticulitis, or Crohn's disease.

Xi Jinping says Strait of Hormuz should be open in call with Saudi crown prince

Chinese leader says there must be an ‘immediate and comprehensive ceasefire’ and backs diplomatic solution to crisis

The Strait of Hormuz should remain open, Chinese President Xi Jinping said in a phone call with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia on Monday, according to state broadcaster CCTV.

It was the first time the Chinese leader had called for the reopening of the strategically vital waterway, which has been repeatedly blockaded since US-Israeli strikes on Iran began on February 28.

“The Strait of Hormuz should remain open for normal passage, which aligns with the common interest of countries in the region and the international community,” Xi said in Monday’s call.

Xi Calls For Reopening Of Homruz And ‘Immediate Ceasefire’ In U.S.-Iran War

China’s President Xi Jinping on Monday called for an immediate ceasefire in the Iran War and said the Strait of Hormuz should be reopened for shipping traffic, in his first public remarks calling for the critical waterway to be opened just weeks before he is set to host President Donald Trump in Beijing.

Xi’s remarks were included in a readout of a call between him and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, released by Chinese State media.

Xi said the strait should “remain open for normal passage,” without singling out either Iran or the U.S. blockade.

The Chinese leader also added that his country wants an “immediate and comprehensive ceasefire” and is willing to support all diplomatic efforts to restore peace.
