Premiering in 2022, the series puts a fresh and delightfully twisted spin on a memorable character, transforming her from a supporting player into the hero of a supernatural coming-of-age mystery.

Will Wednesday season 3 be the end? The hints we've gotten so far

Fewer things have been bigger on Netflix than Wednesday's release. Fans everywhere tuned in to this adaptation of the famous character, played by the incredible Jenna Ortega, and have kept loving her morbid takes every step of the way. Season 2 arrived in 2025 after a three-year wait, and while it wasn't as fantastic as the first season, it still drew plenty of fans, all clamoring for more.

Production on season 3 has finished, and now we're just wondering when we'll get the next season. Thankfully, no strikes or anything else has prevented filming, so we should be on track for a (hopefully) 2027 release.

Nobody on TV runs quite like Jack Lowden. Less than a week after it was added to Netflix for the very first time, the streaming giant has found a new global hit by way of a 114-episode action thriller that’s taken the platform by storm. Debuting on Aug. 18, the hit series serves as a realistic military thriller that doesn't shy away from examining things like PTSD, survivor's guilt, and the effect war has on a soldier's personal life. Some think it's even better than Special Ops: Lioness, which says a lot considering how popular the Taylor Sheridan show has become in recent years.

SEAL Team is gaining renewed attention on Netflix nearly two years after the CBS military drama concluded its seven-season run. The series has entered Netflix's Top 10 TV Shows in the United States, placing it among the platform's most-watched titles. Its latest performance has brought the long-running series back into the spotlight.

SEAL Team, which ended in 2024 after seven seasons, has suddenly become a hit on Netflix. The series ranked seventh among Netflix's Top 10 TV Shows in the United States on August 23, 2026, according to FlixPatrol. It ranked ahead of titles including Conversations with a Killer: The Charles Manson Tapes, The Idaho Murders: College Nightmare, and Best Medicine.

Netflix Adds 7-Season Military Series From Dutton Ranch And Marshals Showrunners

The Taylor Sheridan-verse has been infiltrated by a Navy SEAL team. That is, CBS's "SEAL Team" creator Benjamin Cavell and former showrunner Spencer Hudnut are now overseeing "Dutton Ranch" and "Marshals," respectively. As such, fans of the "Yellowstone" spin-offs might be tempted to check out the pair's military series, and now they can do just that via Netflix. The streamer just added all seven seasons of "SEAL Team," which follows the professional and personal lives of an elite Navy SEAL unit led by David Boreanaz's Jason Hayes.

Boreanaz picked "SEAL Team" as his "Bones" follow-up, and it served him well. The show emerged in the wake of History Channel's "Six" and around the same time as NBC's "The Brave," both of which similarly focused on military units. But Cavell's series tried to set itself apart by paying special attention to authenticity. The show hired former Navy SEAL Mark Semos and former U.S. Army special operations soldier Tyler Grey to advise, and their expertise allowed "SEAL Team" to not only accurately recreate mission protocols but the personal toll warfare takes on the individuals involved as well.

Because the show is titled simply after its protagonist’s name, Ted Lasso didn’t necessarily have to remain a series about an American coach leading a British soccer team. It’s possible, if unlikely, that this fourth season might have followed Ted around as he worked in the grocery, attended his son’s soccer games, helped his mom move, etc. But a series’ identity goes beyond its name, and with “Curiouser and Curiouser!” the season returns to familiar Ted Lasso territory after the previous episode’s prologue/catch-up session/Kansas City travel guide. But not everything looks the way it used to. There are a lot of new faces; some old, familiar faces are nowhere to be found; and some of those that did return have new jobs.

LONDON — Tanya Reynolds had never watched an episode of “Ted Lasso” before she was approached to audition for the fourth season of the Apple TV comedy. But the British actor sent in a tape anyway.

“It was just one scene and it was really funny,” Reynolds says. It’s a busy Saturday morning in central London and we’re huddled in the basement of an equally busy coffee shop. Reynolds, 34, seems surprisingly relaxed considering today marks the final two performances of “1536,” a play she’s been starring in at the Ambassadors Theatre since early May. She’s still incredulous that anyone would think of her to play Alice Chilton, a coach for A.F.C. Richmond’s new women’s team, the latest addition to the series.

Ted Lasso's Tanya Reynolds Unpacks Alice's Feelings Toward Rebecca — Plus, Why Is Rebecca Keeping Keeley In The Dark?

There's some new blood in Richmond's ranks — and we're not just talking about the Lady Greyhounds.

Among the new additions is Alice Chilton (played by "Sex Education" alum Tanya Reynolds), a character first referenced in Episode 1, when Higgins informed Rebecca that she'd thrown her hat in the ring to manage the women's team.

"Coach Chilton? I don't think she likes me very much," Rebecca remarked, to which Higgins responded, "Oh, it's not you. She doesn't like anyone."

"Wonderful," Rebecca replied. "So if Ted says no, and we can't hire a growling rottweiler, there's always Alice Chilton, waiting in the wings, growling even louder."
