Walton Goggins on Ghoul guilt, pole peril in 'Fallout' Episode 5

The budding "Fallout" Season 2 buddy story between the perma-jaded The Ghoul (Walton Goggins) and idealistic vault-dweller Lucy MacLean (Ella Purnell) took an abruptly dark — and pointed — turn in Episode 5 of the Prime Video series (now streaming).

The episode ends with a shocking mid-season cliffhanger… or should we say polehanger?

Tranquilized Lucy shockingly rises up from a seedy hotel room floor, flips on her power fist device, and deals a blow to her newly revealed betrayer, the unsuspecting Ghoul.

The Ghoul flies wildly out of the hotel window and ends up gruesomely impaled on a pole that's part of a bus stop below. The look on his face is pure realism that this could be the end. But really? The Ghoul from "Fallout" getting poled to death mid-Season 2?

Walton Goggins and Justin Theroux light a fire under Fallout's ass

Fallout has never been a show that’s especially interested in plot. Yes, it doled out a few mysteries over the course of its first run, some even extending to season length (especially the question of who Lee Moldaver was and what she wanted with whatever was kicking around in Michael Emerson’s increasingly grody severed head). But the nuts-and-bolts story of the series has mostly forgone elaborate puzzle box shenanigans in favor of hewing pretty closely to a classic hero’s journey, the better to let the show spend the bulk of its energy on building out the world of the Wasteland, navigating its ongoing tightrope between bitter drama and black-as-pitch comedy, and fleshing out the souls of its leading characters. Scrape away the excess, and the story was simple: The bombs dropped, war doesn’t change, and people stay people even after everything has “ended.” ‘Nuff said.

But before their shift officially starts, Lucy stops in Tim’s new office as “Girlfriend Lucy,” or rather, LIGF, “Live-In Girlfriend Lucy,” with a couple of things to say: “Good luck, you’ve earned this, and you’ve got this.” Then, LIGF Lucy clocks out, and Sergeant Chen takes over. ‘Stranger Things 5’ Part 2 Episode Runtimes, Revealed

Co-creator Ross Duffer shared the runtimes for the supersized next batch of final episodes, along with a slight update to the series finale.

Ross Duffer, who created the Upside Down series with brother Matt Duffer, has revealed the final runtimes for the next batch of episodes in the final season of Stranger Things.

The three episodes that make up Stranger Things 5 Vol. 2 will run for just about three and a half hours total. Here’s the breakdown:

Ross Duffer’s social media announcement on Monday also included a slight update to the series finale’s runtime. “Stranger Things: The Finale — The Rightside Up” will now run two hours and eight minutes, instead of the previously announced two hours and five minutes.

'Pluribus' episode 5: Why is milk so important?

Pluribus has milk on its mind in its fifth episode, fittingly titled, "Got Milk."

The drink takes center stage as Carol (Rhea Seehorn) continues to investigate the Others, who have now abandoned her due to her drugging of Zosia (Karolina Wydra) in episode 4. The isolation is equal parts a curse and a blessing. A curse, because even the world's most miserable woman needs some company (and someone to pick up her trash). A blessing, because now Carol can do her detective work far from the prying eyes of a global hive mind.

Surprisingly, what she finds during her snooping has everything to do with milk. It's the drink of choice of many an unsettling TV and film villain, from A Clockwork Orange's Alex to The Boys' Homelander, so the Others are in good company. Sure, they're nowhere near as violent or depraved as other onscreen milk drinkers, but their takeover of the human race certainly puts them in antagonist territory.

Episode 8 Recap: Psychic best friend declares Bear is 'not genuine' during Hometown visits – before Bear decides his final two

With just three women remaining, it's time to get out of the mansion and fly around the country.

Or, in the case of our first Hometown visit, sit in Sydney traffic for the same amount of time as an interstate flight.

For seven episodes, Bear's been in charge of the dates as he's built connections with Janette, Kim and Sunny – but now he's on their turf to see how they spend their time and, of course, be grilled by their nearest and dearest.

First up, it's Sunny in Sydney and she's organised a trip to the driving range to see if Bear's improved his golf form since their first meeting on the opening night's red carpet.

Mamamia recaps The Golden Bachelor: One contestant's daughter poked the Bear.

After Sunday night's hectic double dumping, it's time for the hometowns episode! Sunny is up first as she declares "I'm the CEO for today!" And I believe her! She invites Bear to a driving range in Sydney so she can rub her butt into him.

"He's very obedient! Not a grizzly bear, a very obedient Bear," she assesses. Important!

They sit down together and Sunny tells Bear that she's 'in love with' him. His reply. "Ugh, really!" Lol. This is just what every woman wants to hear in reply to such sentiments.

Sunny then admits she only became single six months ago. Wait, what? This is a wild thing to drop so late in the show.
