    Bronte Campbell retires from swimming to pursue staggering ambition

    Australian swimming great Bronte Campbell has called time on her decorated career and opened up on her new purpose in life: a mission to “completely change the activewear industry”.

    The three-time Olympic gold medallist and former world champion said she “took a long time” to reach the decision to retire, to the point where she’d mapped out with her coach how her two-year lead-in to the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games would look in case she did choose to prolong her career.

    Campbell revealed her retirement decision in an interview with nine.com.au, saying the thought of going all in on her business venture with Earthletica – an emerging women’s activewear brand that only uses recycled or organic fabrics – was “more meaningful and exciting”.

    When people think about Fast & Furious, they mostly think of cars driven by Paul Walker.

    And it’s easy to see why, because Walker was an icon, and these cars are wonderful.

    The franchise has featured so many cars that it’s basically impossible to list them all.

    But we thought we’d name the unsung heroes that perhaps didn’t get as much love as they deserved.

    As the first movie in the franchise, The Fast and the Furious was all about street racing, and everything else was basically an ‘excuse’ to showcase some cool cars.

    Mysterious Jurassic Park brand silence just disrupted some fun Jurassic gaming news

    On Tuesday, during Sony PayStation’s State of Play, one of the most-watched gaming showcases of the year, viewers got a look at a new game in the old Stuntman franchise.

    Stuntman: Hollywood was a big surprise. It’s the first new game in the series since 2007 and, in a twist, it features real, recognizable shows and movies.

    The trailer showed how players will be able to perform stunts based on Miami Vice, Knight Rider, Back to the Future, Fast & Furious and Death Race.

    All those teased franchises are part of Universal Pictures and NBCUniversal TV.

    There’s another Universal tie-in that the Stuntman’s developer and publisher, Saber Interactive, wanted to show, but couldn’t: Jurassic Park.

    Ach, I’m back early with the news that Matteo Arnaldi has pulled out of his semi-final against Flavio Cobolli because of a “viral illness”. So yet another shock at this year’s Roland Garros, though this one of a different nature to all the others. What an anti-climax for Arnaldi, for Italy and for the whole tournament. It would have been a first grand slam semi-final for Arnaldi and the first all-Italian men’s semi at any major.

    Cobolli, sitting alongside Arnaldi, has given his reaction. “It’s tough for me to speak,” he says. “When he came to me [and told me] I almost cried. I didn’t expect it at all. I was completely sad for him but at the same time I’m really happy for my results this week. Matteo is a big inspiration, I wish him all the best.”

    French Open 2026 results: Matteo Arnaldi withdraws before semi-final against Flavio Cobolli with virus

    Flavio Cobolli is through to the French Open final after fellow Italian Matteo Arnaldi withdrew minutes before their semi-final with a virus.

    The good friends were supposed to meet in the last four at 18:00 BST on Friday for a place in a first Grand Slam final.

    However, Arnaldi's withdrawal was announced just 20 minutes before the players were due to step on Court Philippe Chatrier.

    It puts world number 14 Cobolli straight through to Sunday's Roland Garros showpiece, where he will face second seed and title favourite Alexander Zverev.

    There will be 24 surfers who will pit themselves against each other for the right to be crowned king.

    Damian won the event 20 years ago. I had a quick chat with Damian, just after he had finished having a warm-up at the breakwall and he said he is excited for the event.

    Two of Carlos Alcaraz's seven Grand Slam titles were won at Wimbledon

    Two-time champion Carlos Alcaraz will miss this year's Wimbledon because of a wrist injury.

    The world number two withdrew from last month's Barcelona Open after sustaining the injury to his right wrist in the first round.
