Hope, Dodgers' No. 2 prospect, smacks grand slam to continue hit streak

The Dodgers’ No. 2 prospect (MLB No. 24) blasted a grand slam on Sunday for Double-A Tulsa, helping power a 7-2 win over Springfield. The big fly was Hope’s second career grand slam and his second home run of the young 2026 campaign, with his first coming just one day earlier on Saturday.

Hope showed off his gaudy 60-grade power with Sunday’s fourth-inning shot, taking a pitch on the outer portion of the plate and sending it way out to the opposite field at 101 mph.

The outfielder tacked on a ground-ball single in the ninth for his first multi-hit game of 2026. He has now recorded a hit in all eight games to begin the Drillers’ season, resulting in a .265/.297/.500 slash line.

The new hosts of The Grand Tour have been announced, with three stars set to replace former presenters, Jeremy Clarkson, James May, and Richard Hammond.

YouTubers Thomas Holland and James Engelsman, best known for their motoring content, as well as social media star and train enthusiast Francis Bourgeois, will front the revamped version of the Prime Video series.

Who is new Grand Tour star Francis Bourgeois? Real name revealed

Francis Bourgeois is one of three new presenters joining The Grand Tour cast this year, it was recently announced.

The popular show started back in 2016, originally fronted by former Top Gear trio Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond.

Having filmed multiple series and specials, the three hosts left the show in 2024 after a final adventure across Zimbabwe and Botswana.

Last week, Prime Video announced that the show would return with a new trio of presenters to lead the programme forward.

China’s Xiaohui Li celebrated a maiden Grand Slam singles title on Saturday after defeating Diede de Groot in straight sets to claim the women’s wheelchair final.

Li made light work of her highly decorated Dutch opponent, who returned to Kia Arena after undergoing hip surgery last year, taking just 50 minutes to triumph 6-1- 6-2.

Norway: Listen to the songs for Melodi Grand Prix 2026

All the songs for Melodi Grand Prix 2026 have been released on streaming platforms and YouTube. MGP 2026 will select the Norwegian artist and song for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna.

Nine acts will compete in the Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix on 28 February. Eight of the artists were revealed two weeks ago, and the last artist will be decided tomorrow (Tuesday) at around 10:15 CET, when we have the result from the Final of MGP Cup 2026. Skrellex and Raylee are fighting for the ninth spot in Melodi Grand Prix.

Melodi Grand Prix 2026 takes place on Saturday 28 February 2026. Håkons Hall in Lillehammer is the venue and the hosts are Marte Stokstad, Markus Neby and Ronny Brede Aase.

🇳🇴 Norway: Raylee vs Skrellex in Melodi Grand Prix 2026 Radio Duel Final

Skrellex and Raylee will compete in the final of the Melodi Grand Prix 2026 radio duels tomorrow.

Skrellex won the first semi-final Duel of Melodi Grand Prix 2026, beating Gothminister ft. Thomas Jenssen, as a result, they progressed to the final duel on Monday. A second semi-fhad been due to be held today between Sander Silva & Victorjus with “Fritt fall” (Free fall) and Raylee with “Where did you friend go”. However, Sander Silva & Victorjus withdrew from the competition, meaning Raylee has automatically made it through to the final round.

Skrellex and Raylee will compete in one final round of voting on Monday, with the winner of the final duel going through to compete in the final of Melodi Grand Prix 2026.

MGP 2026 first artists revealed

In a special broadcast at noon CET, Norwegian broadcaster NRK has revealed nine of the ten artists for Melodi Grand Prix 2026.

This marks the second comeback of Alexander Rybak, the Eurovision 2009 winner, who also won MGP in 2018 to represent his country in Lisbon. His entry has not yet been confirmed, but will be one of the eight songs from his new album “Fairytales Too”. He called his fan to help him choose the entry, which will be confirmed on 26 January.

Mileo, of Australian and Norwegian heritage, also comes back after taking part in MGP 2024 with “You’re mine“, which did not make it to the final at the time but did find a lot of popularity among Eurovision fans.

Australian Open: Former grand slam champion forced to withdraw

2023 Wimbledon winner Markéta Vondroušová has been forced to withdraw from the Australian Open, after being unable to overcome a shoulder injury.

The 26-year-old was set to face American Hailey Baptiste on Sunday in the first round, who will instead face fellow American Taylor Townsend, who will take Vondroušová's spot in the tournament.

Townsend lost in the final round of qualifying to Australian Storm Hunter, but will now get her shot in the absence of Vondroušová as a lucky loser.

Upon withdrawing, Vondroušová released a statement explaining her decision to withdraw from the tournament.
