Lego Unveils ‘The X-Files’ 1,478-Piece Set Featuring Mulder and Scully Minifigures (EXCLUSIVE)

The brick is out there. Lego has partnered with Gillian Anderson to reveal its new “The X-Files” set, which features 1,478 pieces and eight minifigures (including Mulder and Scully).

“The X-Files” set is part of the company’s fan-favorite Lego Ideas line, in which users submit ideas for products — which are then considered for production as official Lego sets, depending on votes.

“The X-Files” Lego set includes a detailed replica of FBI Agent Fox Mulder’s office, along with a forest clearing scene and a hovering UFO. Minifigures include Fox Mulder, Dana Scully, Walter Skinner, Mr. X, Alex Krycek, Carl Busch, The Flukeman and a grey alien. Inside are details including an “I Want to Believe” poster, an “X-Files” dossier, “The Truth is Out There” tile, pencils in the ceiling of Mulder’s office and a nod to his sunflower seed habit.

The bricks are out there! Here’s your first official look at LEGO 21369 The X-Files, based on the cult 90s TV series that defined an entire generation of science fiction!

This 1,478-piece model lets you build Agent Scully and Mulder’s paranormal world out of LEGO bricks, with a with a forest clearing scene and a hovering UFO on the upper half, and Mulder’s office on the base.

The set includes 8 minifigures: Fox Mulder, Dana Scully, Walter Skinner, Mr. X, Alex Krycek, Carl Busch, The Flukeman and an awesome looking grey alien. No Tooms, but X-Files fans will be incredibly happy with the minifigure selection here, especially the addition of the Flukeman!

For years, every time I spotted a bike on the Lego Ideas site, I voted for it. The Danish toy giant reviews pitches that gain enough votes, and finally, the brand has acknowledged my 'up' votes with the creation of the 11380 Road Bike.

The fully working road bike is part of the Icon Series. Lego claims this is a first for the series, which is targeted at a more mature market, featuring classic vehicles and iconic landmarks. I'd argue, outside of minifigures and MOCs (My Own Creations), this is the first road bike Lego has made, full stop.

The Summer 2026 LEGO reveals just keep coming, and LEGO have also officially unveiled a new Icons set for June 2026, 11380 Road Bike!

This 1,015-piece brick-built bicycle is a hyper-realistic model of a generic road bike, and features some incredibly uncanny details. From the promotional photos, it really doesn’t look like LEGO at all from afar.

For cyclists and even Tour de France fans, this looks like a great set to pickup to display your love of cycling and bikes. This one, however is made out of LEGO bricks, which are expensive, but nowhere near as expensive as carbon fibre used on high-end road bikes!

After teasing them late last year, LEGO has revealed the first three Pokemon sets as well as two additional sets that can be got with purchase/LEGO points.

The main set is a huge 6,838 piece Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise set which is $999.99 and includes all three iconic Pokemon that can be displayed separately, or together in a massive display.

For those that don’t have $1,000 to spend, there’s a Pikachu and Poke Ball set that is 2,050 pieces for $299.99 as well as a 587 piece Eevee set for $99.99.

Pokéman fans: Lego's Pikachu set is a $199.99 'monstrosity'

Thousands of Lego pieces come together to make a Pikachu as hideous as it is expensive

Pokémon's debut Lego set couldn't possibly leave out franchise mascot Pikachu, but many fans aren't thrilled to see the electric rodent among its Kanto brethren. A combination of price, design, and previous releases have left fans feeling both disappointed if not slightly horrified by Lego's rendition of Pikachu.

The set, which will be released on Feb. 26 alongside a Poké Ball, is made up of 2,050 pieces. Hefty! The Pikachu also costs $199.99. No, it doesn't incorporate Lego's new Smart Brick technology. It's just an expensive, giant yellow rat that looks like an animatronic out of Five Nights at Freddy's.

The Danish toymaker that built a global empire on interlocking plastic bricks has unveiled what executives are calling the most significant evolution in its 93-year history: a tiny computer embedded inside a standard Lego brick.

Announced at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Lego Smart Play represents an eight-year, several-hundred-person development effort to add interactivity to physical toys without requiring screens, apps or complex set-up procedures.

“We introduced a step change to the Lego system of play,” Julia Goldin, Lego’s chief product and marketing officer, told this masthead. “We’re introducing a platform consisting of a smart brick, tags and interactive minifigures that fits seamlessly with the rest of the system, but provides an opportunity to bring a new dimension to play.”

On March 1st, 2026, The Lego Group will begin selling the most ambitious brick it’s ever made: a tiny computer that fits entirely inside a classic 2×4 Lego brick. When it detects NFC-equipped smart tags nearby, embedded inside new Lego tiles and new Lego minifigures, or when it sees other Smart Bricks, the company claims it will make entire Lego sets come to life — starting with the humming lightsabers, roaring engines, light-up blasters, and the music of Lego Star Wars.
