The LEGO Group Reveals First-Ever LEGO Pokémon Sets and Trainer Challenge
The LEGO Group and The Pokémon Company International are unveiling the first ever collection of highly anticipated LEGO® Pokémon sets. Based on some of the most iconic Pokémon from the brand’s 30-year history, the first LEGO Pokémon sets allow fans to build and display their favorite Pokémon in LEGO brick form when they launch on February 27, 2026.
This exciting collaboration brings together two beloved worlds, inviting fans everywhere to continue their Pokémon Trainer journey, brick by brick. The launch of the first three sets sees five fan favorite Pokémon—Pikachu, Eevee, Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise—recreated in LEGO brick form, giving builders the opportunity to bring their adventures to life, one brick at a time.

After teasing them late last year, LEGO has revealed the first three Pokemon sets as well as two additional sets that can be got with purchase/LEGO points.
The main set is a huge 6,838 piece Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise set which is $999.99 and includes all three iconic Pokemon that can be displayed separately, or together in a massive display.
For those that don’t have $1,000 to spend, there’s a Pikachu and Poke Ball set that is 2,050 pieces for $299.99 as well as a 587 piece Eevee set for $99.99.

Pokémon's debut Lego set couldn't possibly leave out franchise mascot Pikachu, but many fans aren't thrilled to see the electric rodent among its Kanto brethren. A combination of price, design, and previous releases have left fans feeling both disappointed if not slightly horrified by Lego's rendition of Pikachu.
The set, which will be released on Feb. 26 alongside a Poké Ball, is made up of 2,050 pieces. Hefty! The Pikachu also costs $199.99. No, it doesn't incorporate Lego's new Smart Brick technology. It's just an expensive, giant yellow rat that looks like an animatronic out of Five Nights at Freddy's.
