    Sony Pulls 12 PS Plus Games on July 21: Risk of Rain 2 Leads the Exits

    Sony confirmed on June 16, 2026, that 12 games will be removed from the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium Game Catalog on July 21 — a removal batch confirmed by Push Square larger than the service's typical monthly turnover of six to eight titles. Subscribers have until July 21 to play or download any of the departing games through their existing subscription; once that date arrives and July's new additions go live, access is cut off permanently unless the games are purchased outright.

    Unlike the Essential tier's monthly titles — which remain in a subscriber's library permanently as long as the subscription stays active — Extra and Premium catalog games operate under fixed-term licensing deals, typically running six to twelve months between Sony and third-party publishers. When those licenses expire, access is revoked for every subscriber, regardless of how many hours they spent playing and regardless of whether the game was downloaded locally. Save data is preserved: if you later buy a title outright, your progress picks up where you left off.

    PlayStation Plus to raise monthly subscription fee

    PlayStation Plus subscribers will be hit with price rises in some regions, the gaming company has said, citing "market conditions".

    A basic monthly subscription to the gaming service will rise by £1, $1 (75p), and €1 (87p) to £7.99, $10.99, and €9.99 respectively. Meanwhile, a basic three-month subscription will go up by £3, $3, and €3 to £21.99, $27.99, and €27.99 respectively.

    PlayStation did not specify where the rises would apply, but said they do not apply to current subscribers, except in Turkey or India, unless the existing subscription changes or lapses.

    The rises will take effect on Wednesday 20 May and come just a few months after the company increased the price of a PlayStation 5.

    PlayStation Plus Is Getting A Price Increase In Australia For New Subscribers

    PlayStation has announced that PlayStation Plus is getting a price increase for new customers starting May 20. The price will not change for current subscribers in Australia, unless their existing subscription changes or expires.

    “Like many companies around the world, we continue to be impacted by global market conditions and have adjusted prices for new PlayStation Plus subscribers in select regions. The price for new customers in Australia will be from $14.95 for a one-month subscription, from $43.95 for a three-month subscription and from $112.95 for a 12-month subscription. There will be no change for existing subscribers in Australia. Existing subscribers will update to the new pricing if they lapse or change their current subscription.”

    The company is blaming this increase on "ongoing market conditions." When a tech company says this in 2026, it's typically referring to Trump-adjacent tariffs or AI-based memory crunch. However, PS Plus is a digital subscription service that provides a handful of monthly game titles to download. Members do get cloud save storage and online multiplayer access, both of which require servers that could be more expensive to operate nowadays. Maybe that's it.

    First PS Plus Essential free game of April has been leaked

    The main monthly free game for April 2026 that will be available to all PS Plus subscribers appears to have been leaked online.

    Every month, all PS Plus subscribers get access to a handful of free games which they have a month to redeem before the next batch becomes available. Once they're redeemed, as long as players have an active PS Plus subscription, they can download and play them whenever they want.

    And renowned leaker Bilibil-kun claims the big free game for April is Lords of the Fallen, a Soulslike third-person action role-playing game that released in 2023. It's a successor to the 2014 game with the same name.

    La crise du logement n’est plus à démontrer. Elle se vit.

    Elle se vit dans les loyers qui explosent. Dans les familles qui cherchent pendant des mois. Dans les étudiants qui repoussent leur arrivée. Dans les aînés qui n’ont plus d’options.

    Et pourtant, une question s’impose: si tout le monde reconnaît l’urgence, pourquoi les projets n’avancent-ils pas plus vite?

    Les logements à prix modiques, une denrée devenue rare à Sherbrooke

    Le cœur du problème n’est pas l’existence de logements à près de 3000 $ par mois, tant mieux si des gens en ont les moyens. Le principal problème, c’est la disparition des logements à prix modiques.

    En 2021, les deux tiers des logements 4 et demi étaient annoncés sous les 1000 $. En 2026, à peine 8 % sont sous cette barre.

    Petit rappel de l’exercice. Depuis 2021, une fois par année, je recense toutes les annonces de logements à louer sur Kijiji. On parle donc de logements disponibles, pas de logements déjà occupés. L’idée est de se mettre dans la peau d’une personne qui cherche un logement.

    Accès au logement et à la propriété | Le modèle coopératif à Sherbrooke: un ingrédient pour l'abordabilité?

    Les offres de logements à 3000$ par mois sont de plus en plus fréquentes alors qu'en 2021, selon une compilation de La Tribune, le tiers des logements 4 pièces et demi étaient sous le seuil des 1000$. Ce qui suppose un important problème d'abordabilité plutôt qu'un enjeu d'accessibilité.  

    Est-ce que les villes sont suffisamment engagées dans le développement de coopératives d'habitation et quelle modèle de coopérative est le plus viable, compte tenu de l'inflation et de l'endettement? C'est la question à laquelle répond Guillaume Brien, qui estime que d'autres juridictions ont déjà fait le pari.
