    Gold Coast Suns veteran Nick Holman has announced he will retire at the end of season 2026.

    The announcement comes following a career spanning 11 seasons and 154 games across Carlton and the Gold Coast Suns.

    Drafted to Carlton, where he only played the nine games across two years, he was then picked up by the Gold Coast in the 2018 rookie draft. His 145 games since see him sit equal 12th on the club's all time games list, and featured 79 goals.

    Holman informed his teammates on Monday morning of his decision to call time on his career and reflected on his time with the club.

    Originally drafted to Carlton where he played nine games across two seasons, Holman quickly became one of Gold Coast’s favourite sons after joining in the 2018 rookie draft.

    Hawthorn legend Jordan Lewis has cautioned his former club that signing Ben King could disrupt culture as the Hawks also look to lock away Mitch Lewis.

    Lewis is coming off a season-best five goal performance against Richmond to take his season tally to 30 majors from a career-best 18 games after a wretched run of injury since being drafted in 2016.

    AS IT eyes a top-10 finish this season, North Melbourne gets a chance to claim its eighth win of the season when it meets Essendon on Sunday.

    The Roos did what they needed to do in a low-scoring affair with the Tigers and can now pile more misery on the Bombers after snapping a 12-game losing streak against their rivals earlier this year.

    Essendon (1-13) has been left searching for positives to carry it through to the end of the year off the back of a nine-game losing streak before heading into a bye.

    Suns Hit With Devastating Injury News Before Game 2 vs Thunder

    PHOENIX — The Phoenix Suns could reportedly be down three key pieces for tonight's Game 2 matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

    Arizona Sports insider John Gambadoro reported on X that he's "not feeling good" about all three of Jordan Goodwin (left calf soreness), Grayson Allen (left hamstring strain) and Mark Williams (left foot third metatarsal stress reaction) playing tonight against OKC after they were all originally listed as questionable.

    UPDATE: Goodwin and Williams have officially been ruled out, while Allen is availble, but he has not played the last two games despite being active for them.

    Suns center Mark Williams, who missed 15 games in March due to a third metatarsal stress reaction in his left foot, sat out last Friday’s play-in game vs. Golden State and Sunday’s Game 1 against Oklahoma City due to what the team called left foot soreness. According to Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic, Williams was wearing a walking boot at the Suns’ facility on Tuesday.

    However, when head coach Jordan Ott was asked on Tuesday if Williams would be ruled out for the rest of the first-round series, he said the club is “just continuing to take it day-by-day,” per Rankin. And the Suns’ injury report doesn’t suggest they’re necessarily expecting a lengthy absence for the big man — he’s considered questionable to suit up on Wednesday for Game 2.
