    What we learned from the first trailer for the new Peaky Blinders film

    The first full trailer for the new Peaky Blinders film, The Immortal Man, has been released – by order of the people at Netflix.

    Following on from Steven Knight's acclaimed TV drama series, the trailer shows Oscar winner Cillian Murphy reprising his role as flat cap-wearing criminal gang leader Tommy Shelby, returning to Birmingham during World War Two.

    New additions to the cast include Dune actress Rebecca Ferguson, Reservoir Dogs actor Tim Roth and Saltburn star Barry Keoghan, who plays Shelby's son who seems to need to be set on the right path.

    Another award winner, Adolescence's Stephen Graham also returns as well as Sophie Rundle as Tommy's sister, Ada.

    Airdate: Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man

    Feature film Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man will screen in select cinemas from March 6 and on Netflix on March 20.

    Cillian Murphy returns as the iconic Tommy Shelby in the film directed by Tom Harper and written by Steven Knight.

    MILAN — Officially, Russia is banned from the Olympics because Russian president Vladimir Putin ordered the invasion of Ukraine in 2022. At the 2026 Winter Games in Milano Cortina, there will be no Russian flags, no Russian anthems and no Russian national colors incoporated in the competition. (The same holds true for Belarus, which has supported Russia in the war.)

    But there will be athletes with Russian and Belarussian passports competing as "Individual Neutral Athletes," or AINs for short, if they meet specific conditions. That contingent will include 13 Russians and seven Belarussians, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) announced Jan. 29.

    If any of the AIN athletes were to win gold, a wordless anthem commissioned by the IOC would play. And none of the them will be allowed to participate in the Opening Ceremony Feb. 6. The IOC used the same procedure for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.

Other countries will accept whatever nonsense the Americans force on them – teams of vegans, queers and lesbians.”

    The iconic Mount Panorama will host Australia’s international endurance race this weekend when the lights go out on the prestigious Bathurst 12 Hour.

    Twice as long as the renowned Bathurst 1000 and open to cars and drivers from around the world, the half-day race is the de facto season opener for Australian motorsport in 2026, and this year’s edition promises to be the biggest in years.

    The grid features some of the biggest names from domestic, regional and international racing. Among them are championship winners in a variety of categories, including on two wheels and four, all seeking to conquer the mountain.

    The category has a Triple Eight Ford Mustang, Team 18 Chevrolet Camaro and Walkinshaw TWG Toyota Supra at Mount Panorama and four 30-minute slots in which to run them across Friday and Saturday.

    While there’s been much focus on new player Toyota, Supercars’ data gathering is also about ensuring there’s straight line parity between the Mustang and Camaro.

And while the Lakers have some offensive weapons of their own in LeBron James and Austin Reaves, the Thunder has plenty of elite defenders to throw at them. I'm picking OKC to bounce back with a road win.

    Thunder’s Jalen Williams To Return On Monday

    Thunder forward Jalen Williams will return to action on Monday after missing the team’s past 10 games due to a right hamstring strain, writes Justin Martinez of The Oklahoman. Williams isn’t on Oklahoma City’s injury report for its game in Los Angeles against the Lakers.

    It has been a stop-and-start season so far for Williams, who didn’t make his debut until November 28 after recovering from right wrist surgery. The 24-year-old appeared in the Thunder’s next 24 games before going down in Miami on January 17 with his latest injury.

    In his 24 appearances, Williams has averaged 16.8 points, 5.6 assists, and 4.8 rebounds in 29.6 minutes per night, with a .470/.300/.833 shooting line. With a couple exceptions (his assists represent a career high), those numbers are down across the board from the ones he posted in his All-NBA campaign in 2024/25.
