    Tobey Maguire officiates ex-wife Jennifer Meyer's star-studded Hawaii wedding to Geoff Ogunlesi

    Jennifer Meyer tied the knot with Geoff Ogunlesi in a romantic island ceremony in Hawaii, with her ex-husband, Tobey Maguire, officiating.

    The couple tied the knot at the Four Seasons Resort Lanai over the weekend.

    Meyer and Maguire’s two children — daughter Ruby, 19, and son Otis, 17 — were also part of the wedding — as well as Meyer and Ogunlesi’s newborn baby girl, whom they welcomed in May.

    Meyer wore a strapless white wedding gown and a long veil for the outdoor ceremony, as Ogunlesi looked sharp in a black suit and bowtie.

    Maguire, clad in a suit and tie, looked animated as he officiated the ceremony, at one point holding up papers as he pointed his right finger up.

    Tobey Maguire and Jennifer Meyer are officially divorced, Page Six can exclusively reveal.

    The former couple’s marital status was officially terminated on Sept. 21, with both restored to the status of single persons, according to court documents obtained by Page Six.

    “Judgment of dissolution is entered. Marital or domestic partnership status is terminated and the parties are restored to the status of single persons,” the docs read.

    However, the exes bifurcated their marital status, meaning they still have remaining issues in their divorce to work out.

    The judgment was officially filed with the Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday.

    The court documents do not specify which issues remain unresolved, but state that all matters other than the dissolution of their marital status will be determined separately.

    A Sydney currency trader who was sacked for working from Singapore without approval has won an unfair dismissal case, but failed to be awarded compensation.

    The Fair Work Commission ruled on Wednesday that Charles Graham had been unfairly dismissed by HIFX Australia, trading as Xe, in December last year.

    Graham was sacked after his manager asked an IT worker to use his “FBI skills” and track the IP address on Graham’s laptop.

    Global currency company Xe sacked Charles Graham for serious misconduct after tracking his laptop to an Ibis Hotel in Singapore, which followed an earlier incident where Graham claimed he was working from home so a plumber could fix the toilet when he was really in Bali.

    HIFX dealer unfairly dismissed after laptop traced to a Singapore hotel, but no compensation ordered

    The Fair Work Commission found HIFX Australia unfairly dismissed a foreign exchange dealer who worked from Singapore without approval. There was a valid reason, but the process was procedurally unfair, and the gap between lost pay and notice already paid came to one cent.

    A foreign exchange dealer logged on to his work laptop from a hotel in Singapore at 9am on Monday 17 November 2025, his first morning back from annual leave. By 9.45am his employer’s IT team had executed a PowerShell command on the laptop and returned its GPS coordinates.

    Former Geelong forward drops trade bomb as Cats pair shopped: AFL trade news

    Geelong premiership duo Sam De Koning and Gryan Miers are being shopped around by the club in a potential trade with three days left before the period closes, according to former Cat Josh Jenkins.

    Miers had a medical with West Coast recently, and has been linked to Essendon in recent days as his future becomes uncertain.

    The forward's manager, Liam Pickering of Bravo Management, said there'll be no move to the Eagles, and has said multiple times that the likelihood is that Miers will be at Geelong in 2027.

    "Well, he's not going to be an Eagle, let's put it that way," Pickering said late last week.

    Ukraine strikes Yandex data centre in third attack on Russian tech giant

    Yandex has been forced to pause its operations at a data centre near Moscow after the facility was damaged in a Ukrainian drone strike – the third attack on the Russian tech giant's sites this week.

    The company – dubbed "Russia's Google" – said no one was injured at the centre in Vladimir, east of the capital, but some of its services were unavailable to users.

    Earlier this week, Yandex said it was struggling to maintain its services after two of its five data centres were hit in Ukrainian strikes.

    Both Russia and Ukraine have stepped up attacks on infrastructure in recent months as the war between them continues in its fifth year following Russia's full-scale invasion.

    A fuel deal with Vladimir Putin, and sanctions against the legal institution, ram home the president’s belief that might is right

    On Friday, Donald Trump drove home his belief that might is right and the rule of law is an obstacle rather than an essential foundation stone of international order. First came the escalated assault on the international criminal court (ICC), sanctioning the body itself. Then he announced a deal with Russia to buy diesel.

    The US has long chafed at the notion of being bound by the rule of law that it espoused publicly. That hypocrisy now appears as a lesser vice. The president has declared that “my own morality” is all that constrains him. His brazen flouting of the law, embrace of dictators and rhetorical attacks all undermine global standards.

    How the ICC can be saved

    Hoping for ‘dialogue’ with the US over its sanctions on the ICC is meaningless. Action is needed to protect the court.

    The sanctions the United States has imposed on the International Criminal Court threaten to degrade its capacity to function, leaving it to die a slow institutional death. Its continued operation as an international organisation, let alone a court of law, would become impossible.

    The international community has responded with weak statements of condemnation. States Parties have had more than 20 months since US President Donald Trump came to power to prepare for this move. Efforts should have been made to strengthen the court’s institutional resilience.

    As Navi Pillay wins Nobel Peace Prize, US takes unprecedented action to cripple the court she served on

    When South African jurist Navi Pillay won this year’s Nobel Peace Prize, she happened to be at a conference at the Nuremberg Court in Germany, where the landmark trial of Nazi leaders almost 80 years ago laid the foundations for modern international law.

    As her colleagues in the human rights community applauded and congratulated the former International Criminal Court (ICC) judge on her win, her first reaction was simply: “Is it true? I thought it must be a joke.”

    “If you clap a little bit more, I may share this prize with (US President Donald) Trump,” she quipped, a reference to how last year’s winner gave her medal to the US president, before adding “it’s very appropriate that I’m with friends, colleagues, all of whom support human rights.”

    Fiona Byrne, The Age’s CBD columnist, writes that Australian golf legend Greg Norman has taken a very public swing at Qantas, calling it the “never on-time” airline and describing it as outdated and unreliable.

    Norman, who was a high-profile celebrity ambassador for Qantas for decades, teed off at the airline’s management on Sunday, challenging them to get the service back up to his expected standard, adding the hashtag #alottodo to make his point.

    He also questioned whether profit had been put above “customer caring, reputation and service” and he said it used to be one of the world’s top three airlines but “alas no more”.

    New Australian comedy horror asks if we can still laugh at Nazis

    After spending ten years developing her horror-comedy series Gnomes, co-writer Tegan Higginbotham had a concern plaguing her mind.

    "We grew up on Mel Brook's comedies where Nazis are funny," she says.

    Created by Joel Kohn (The Mirror), Higginbotham co-wrote the series with her husband Paul F Verhoeven, as well as pulling double duty as one half of a ditzy police duo, the other half being fellow comedian Matt Okine.

    Gnomes might be set in a small Australian township but its set-up hinges on a deadly but petrified European gnome queen who was stolen by the Nazis in the final whiffs of WWII as Hitler's last-ditch attempt to regain power.

    One can never trust marketing materials to accurately describe a movie or TV series, but I’m pleased to report that Gnomes’ official synopsis gets its tone right: “Gremlins meets Hot Fuzz.” This six-part horror-comedy series indeed feels like the kind of rambunctious, high-spirited production that’d be right up the alley of Joe Dante and Edgar Wright, directors of the aforementioned films. Particularly in its air of barely controlled chaos, staged with a slight wink to the audience but never too self-consciously.
