Mick and his son walked along Sunshine Beach in Queensland as they watched the moon eclipse halfway before a dark storm and clouds rolled over. 

"We hurried home to dodge the rain, but snagged these pics," the father said. 

Linda's 97-year-old mum witnessed the eclipse shine through her bedroom window in Strathpine in Queensland.
