Sound the alarm: Taylor Swift is up to something, again. The Mastermind musician has sent fans into a frenzy this morning when a countdown appeared to take over her website. The last time such an event occurred, the countdown led to the unveiling of her latest album, The Life Of A Showgirl.
Only adding to the mystery is the fact the countdown disappeared just 10 minutes after it first appeared.Set on a sky blue backdrop with what many have deduced are clouds eerily identical to those in hit animation Toy Story, the timer was set to go off at 1 p.m. CT / 2 p.m. ET on May 2.Many Swifties suspect the singer could be releasing a single set to appear on the soundtrack of the upcoming Toy Story 5 film, which is slated for release in June this year.

Fans noticed that Taylor’s site briefly changed to a countdown leading to May 2, and then reverted back to The Life of a Showgirl theme that we’re used to.
At this point it’s unclear if this is a glitch or if Taylor’s announcing something, but fans have noticed that the clouds are straight out of Toy Story. I mean, the elongated tail on the cloud next to the “T”? It’s literally! The same! Not to mention the fact that Taylor Swift and Toy Story share the same initials.

Taylor Swift sends fans into a frenzy with since-deleted countdown – and they've figured out what it means
Taylor Swift has yet again sent the world into a tizzy with an anticipated music announcement – but this time, it may have been a mistake.
Keen-eyed fans were shocked when Swift's official website began a 48-hour countdown in the early hours of Friday AEST, especially as the backdrop of blue sky and cartoon clouds looked identical to the iconic wallpaper of Andy's bedroom in Pixar's Toy Story.
But almost as quickly as it appeared, the countdown was quietly removed.
Before it vanished, the countdown was set to end on Sunday, May 3, at 4am AEST. Neither Swift nor her official fan account, Taylor Nation, has acknowledged the timer.
