Richard Hammond has faced more legal action with a second court appearance.

A company owned by the former Top Gear presenter was ordered to pay a financial penalty after a case was heard by magistrates in Worcester earlier this month.

The Smallest Cog Limited, which operates from premises in Beech Lane on the Rotherwas Industrial Estate, admitted failing to provide information that could identify the driver of a Ford vehicle linked to an alleged offence.

As a result of the guilty plea, the court imposed a fine on the business along with a victim surcharge.

RICHARD Hammond's car restoration company has been fined after appearing in court.

The Smallest Cog Limited, based in Rotherwas, appeared before magistrates in Worcester earlier this month after being brought in on a charge of failing to identify a driver.

The company pleaded guilty of failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle, a Ford, who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.

The court confirmed that a fine and victim surcharge were imposed on the company.

The company, of which Hammond is the sole director, has a registered address in London according to Companies House, but trades from a unit in Beech Lane in the Rotherwas Industrial Estate.
