‘Can’t keep kids safe’: Inherent risks in market-driven childcare
Childcare worker Sherry used to wake up every morning unsure of how to keep the 11 children in her care safe.
“It hurts me as a teacher that you can’t keep the children in your care safe,” she said. “It’s stressful and overwhelming.”
