La Lega Serie A ha approvato un nuovo regolamento per Serie A e Primavera 1: le partite non iniziate o interrotte saranno recuperate, o proseguite, nella prima data utile. Ciò avverrà nella prima giornata disponibile a calendario, nel rispetto delle finestre FIFA e garantendo i tempi di riposo per le squadre (almeno due giorni di stacco tra una gara e l'altra)

Procedure più chiare e tempi certi per il recupero delle partite non iniziate e la prosecuzione delle partite interrotte. La Lega Serie A ha definito il nuovo regolamento con l’obiettivo di limitare i rinvii e garantire la regolarità dei campionati (le nuove norme valgono per la A e la Primavera 1). Il concetto che la Lega Serie A sottolinea è quello della prima data utile, ovvero la prima giornata libera del calendario che rispetti le finestre FIFA e garantisca adeguati tempi di recupero (due giorni liberi dalla partita precedente e due da quella successiva).

Serie A, nuove regole sui recuperi: più certezze e criteri più rigidi

La Lega Serie A ha approvato un nuovo quadro regolamentare dedicato alla gestione delle partite rinviate o interrotte. Le disposizioni, valide sia per il massimo campionato sia per la Primavera 1, puntano a rendere più prevedibili le procedure di recupero e a tutelare la regolarità delle competizioni.

Il principio centrale delle nuove norme è quello della prima data utile, ovvero il primo spazio disponibile nel calendario compatibile con gli impegni internazionali e con le necessarie condizioni di recupero fisico per le squadre. La programmazione dei recuperi dovrà infatti rispettare un intervallo minimo di due giorni liberi rispetto alla gara precedente e a quella successiva.

PERTH. La domanda è inevitabile: perché Milan e Inter (poi la Juventus oltre al Palermo) si prendono la briga di effettuare due amichevoli quasi agli antipodi dell’Italia? 3 new fights added to UFC 331, including Gable Steveson’s sophomore appearance

The UFC has announced three new fights for its upcoming numbered event in Los Angeles on Sept. 19, including the second octagon appearance of Gable Steveson and the promotional return of Robelis Despaigne.

Steveson will take on Sean Sharaf, while Despaigne takes on octagon veteran Tai Tuivasa. The other bout officially announced for the line-up is a middleweight showdown between Ryan Gandra and Ozzy Diaz.

UFC 331 will take place at the crypto.com Arena and air live on Paramount+, but the company has yet to reveal the headlining attraction.

Renato Moicano vs. Brian Ortega 2 added to UFC 331

Ortega (16-5 MMA, 8-5 UFC), a former two-time UFC featherweight title challenger, is moving up to the lightweight division to take on veteran Renato Moicano (21-7-1 MMA, 13-7 UFC) in a rematch Sept. 19 at UFC 331 in Los Angeles. UFC officials announced the rematch on Wednesday.

This bout was originally expected to go down in March at UFC 326, but Ortega withdrew due to injury. Ortega and Moicano fought back in 2017. Ortega submitted Moicano in a bout that won Fight of the Night.

Ortega's move to lightweight has been talked about for several years, as he'd had trouble making 145 pounds. In his last outing last August, Ortega was unable to make the featherweight cut, thus pushing his bout with Aljamain Sterling to a 153-pound catchweight bout. Ortega lost the fight by unanimous decision. "T-City" finds himself on a two-fight losing streak and 1-4 in his past five bouts.

Sajid first took the wickets of Chanderpaul and Amir Jangoo (13) before a stubborn partnership between Shai Hope and captain Roston Chase took West Indies to 99-3, giving it hope of reaching stumps with wickets in hand.

It's Official: Anthropic Is Building an in-House Chip Team for Claude

Anthropic is building a team to design its own in-house AI chips as it faces surging demand for its models.

The AI startup is hiring engineers to design custom chips for its Claude AI model, according to a job listing and a company statement.

An Anthropic spokesperson told Business Insider that the company is building an in-house silicon team to design custom chips for Claude, the first time it has publicly confirmed the plans.

They added that Anthropic would co-design hardware and models, allowing Claude to run faster and more efficiently "at the scale our customers need."

The spokesperson said Anthropic has taken and will continue to take a "multi-chip approach" in which hardware from AWS, Google, Nvidia, and AMD will remain central to the AI lab's scaling efforts.

Anthropic is building a team to design its own custom chips for AI usage.

Business Insider was first to report on the news, but Anthropic has since confirmed with TechCrunch.

The Claude maker said it is planning to co-design hardware and models to help its technology run faster and more efficiently. Last month, The Information reported that Anthropic was scouting Samsung as a potential partner for building such chips.

Anthropic’s decision to design its own chips comes as demand for Claude rises while AI companies snatch up as many AI infrastructure deals as they can.

For its part, Anthropic has inked deals with AWS, Google, Nvidia, and AMD to access AI computing hardware. But to really scale to meet the level of demand, relying on others clearly isn’t enough.
