Amazon Seller Assistant plugin brings seller data to Claude
Amazon's new Selling Partner plugin lets independent sellers check inventory, change prices and update listings from Anthropic's Claude or Amazon Quick. It is in beta in the US. Seller Assistant also gets memory and background workflows that act with the seller's approval.
“Our vision was that they would never have to log into Seller Central. We would just bring it to them where they work,” Mary Beth Westmoreland, Amazon’s vice president of Worldwide Selling Partner Experience, told GeekWire.
Amazon announced on Wednesday a plugin that lets independent sellers run their Amazon business from an outside AI assistant. The first two are Anthropic’s Claude and Amazon Quick, its own AI assistant for work. The Amazon Selling Partner plugin launches in Quick and in beta in Claude, with more integrations to follow.
