Police charge gang rapist who escaped from Sydney hospital

Convicted gang rapist Michael Angok has been arrested and charged after escaping custody from Bankstown Hospital last week.
Before his arrest, police "observed a pair of shoes" belonging to Angok outside a property and set up a crime scene.
Angok was formally refused bail on Monday and the matter was adjourned to the Parramatta Local Court on June 4.
