⢠Revised death toll: Five teachers at a school north of Bangkok were killed Friday when a teen gunman opened fire, Thailandâs prime minister said, in the countryâs deadliest school shooting in years.
⢠Other victims: The 14-year-old suspect opened fire at a secondary school in Nonthaburi province after earlier killing his grandparents at their home, where he also lived, police said. More than 30 people, including students, were injured.
⢠Suspect dead: The youth turned his weapon on himself and later died, Thailandâs prime minister said. Authorities have yet to determine how the teenager gained access to the weapon, a handgun that police said belonged to his grandfather.

On Friday morning, as the final classes of the week were under way, panicked students began streaming out of a prestigious school just outside Bangkok.
"I was standing in front of the teacher when she was shot," a shaken seventh grader tells the BBC, near the gates of Debsirin School in Nonthaburi. "She was talking to me when [the gunman] showed up."
Still in her uniform, with her mother by her side, she explains how the shooter stalked from room to room.
Authorities say he killed five teachers and injured 23 people – including fellow pupils – before turning the weapon on himself. Earlier, he had gunned down his grandparents.
