Steven Spielberg’s incredible James Bond Easter Egg in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
Back in 1989, Harrison Ford returned as his archaeologist adventurer for a third time in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, which is on Channel 4 this afternoon.
This time around, he’d be joined by original James Bond star Sean Connery as the lead’s father.
This was a perfect fit given that George Lucas and Steven Spielberg had created Indiana Jones as a character to rival 007 when the latter director had originally wanted to shoot a Bond movie.
Yet Connery wasn’t the only 007 alumnus in the Last Crusade, as the movie also co-starred A View To A Kill Bond girl Alison Doody as Dr Elsa Schneider and For Your Eyes Only Bond villain Julian Glover as baddie Walter Donovan.
