Live: Warriors boosted by late inclusions for Titans clash

The New Zealand Warriors welcome back a pair of key players for their clash against the Gold Coast Titans in Auckland.

Later, South Sydney faces St George Illawarra, followed by Wests Tigers hosting the Brisbane Broncos.

Meanwhile, the Dolphins are set to be without five-eighth Kodi Nikorima after he was handed a suspension by the NRL for a hip-drop tackle that hospitalised Penrith Panthers hooker Mitch Kenny.

He has produced an excellent tackle around the legs of Warriors second-rower Leka Halasima. Halasima looked destined to score, but he was cut down in a great tackle. Illias saved a certain try.

Match Preview: Rivals lock horns for Zae Wallace Shield

Keeping the momentum rolling will be in focus for both the One New Zealand Warriors and the Gold Coast Titans in today's round seven NRL contest at Go Media Stadium (5.00pm kick-off).

It's a day when both teams also play for the Zae Wallace Shield in honour of the former Titan and New Zealand schoolboy star who fell seriously ill in 2019 and lost his battle with an infection at the age of just 20.

The Zae Wallace Shield has been at stake every time the two clubs have met since 2019, the Warriors reclaiming the trophy with a 32-18 win in Robina last August.

NRL 2026: Titans, Late mail: Bai to start as Titans tackle Warriors in New Zealand

Cooper Bai has been promoted to start in New Zealand as the Titans take on the Warriors at Go Media Stadium.

In his eighth NRL game for the Gold Coast, the dynamic forward takes on the vacant lock role with Chris Randall ruled out with a minor calf complaint; meanwhile, Jaylan De Groot also comes in to replace AJ Brimson who has stayed in Australia for the birth of his second child.

Klese Haas is good to go after missing last week's clash in Sydney due to a minor leg injury and will be injected from the bench, joining Zane Harrison and Josh Patston on the interchange with the pair coming in to cover the loss of both Randall and Brimson.
